Leponitt PG30C Nippers: Double Bevel

Long considered one of the best wheeled cutters on the market this classic offers great value. The hardened steel wheels are double beveled for quick and efficient cutting and can be rotated as often as you like with the provided allen key. The wheels are designed with a small gap of approximately 2mm so that the y do not crush or shatter thin or fragile glass and mirror. There is a small controller that prevents the jaws from opening too wide so that gripping is less tiring. This tiny tube can be removed if necessary to cut tiles thicker than 6-7mm and up to 12mm. The longer curved handles deliver excellent leverage and control. Hold them further back for thicker tesserae such as smalti. This nippers are designed for glass but can be used on a wide variety of materials but remember they will dull more quickly when used on ceramic and porcelain. We recommend wiping them down after used with a dry soft cloth and rotaing the wheels before each use. Use a little WD40 and wipe dry ito remove any glass residue.
