Bubblicious Diamonds: Peony (5 pieces)

Handmade glass diamonds that include bubbles within their matrix. Each diamond is approximately 10x20mm and 6mm thick at the highest point. The manufacturer uses Float glass (Coe 82) fusible paint from the companies DEL CERAMISTA S.A. and CARBANY Both companies located in Buenos Aires. The bubblicious series uses 2 plates of 2mm thickness and the paint is applied between the layers. The enamel oxides react in the kiln forming bubbles and the pigment moves to create lighter and darker patterns. Each tille is hand painted by artisans with a watercolor brush. They are then dried in a machine to evaporate the water and then assembled on plates of refractory material inside the kiln and fired to a temperature of 800 ° Celsius. The tiles can be used both indoors and outdoors, being resistant to UV rays. And one more thing! They can be fused again together (taking into account the correct programmed temperature curve).
